As Oxford County is embarking on a cycling strategy, the province is as well. A province-wide effort to create recreational biking routes is among the potential improvements being considered in Ontario's draft cycling strategy. The draft strategy released today also says support for municipalities to create biking networks, public-education campaigns for drivers and giving out cycling safety information with each new bike are being contemplated. The public is asked to send in their feedback on the draft strategy before the end of next January.
