They ended up arresting a 26 year old woman from Norfolk County on Friday night in Tillsonburg on Simcoe Street. Police say the woman was clearly intoxicated and was charged with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.

Detachment Commander of the Oxford OPP Inspector Tony Hymers says they take impaired driving very seriously.

"Impaired driving is a serious issue on Ontario roads. Every year, the OPP investigates a significant number of fatal motor vehicle collisions that are attributed to alcohol/drug-impaired drivers. Drivers need to remember that any amount of alcohol or drugs can impair one's ability to drive."
