Briefs include a senior citizen falling victim to a credit card fraud, mischief and drugs seized during a traffic stop.
PARIS - Brant OPP are asking for the public's help after someone smashed the window of an SUV in Paris.
Police say the vehicle was parked on William Street last Monday night around 11:15 when the mischief happened. OPP are asking anyone who may have been in the area last night and noticed suspicious behaviour or vehicles to step forward.

BRANT COUNTY - A senior citizen from Brant County has fallen victim to a credit card fraud.
Police say the elderly woman was contacted on the phone by someone offering computer technical services to install antivirus protection on her computer. The victim gave her credit card information over the phone and found that nearly $600 in charges had been added to her account.
The County of Brant OPP offer the following tips to prevent fraud:
- Keep your personal information confidential and safe, do not give any information out over the phone, Internet or through e-mail
- Protect your PIN (Personal Identification Number) and passwords
- Beware of unusual transactions and "too good to be true" offers.

PARIS - Police were able to seize marijuana and hashish oil after a traffic stop last Monday on Grand River Street North in Paris.
OPP arrested and charged a 25 year old from Brant County with two counts of possession of a substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances act.
He will appear in Brantford Court at a later date to answer to his charges.
