OPP briefs include multiple vehicles being egged in Norfolk, and Delhi residents getting scammed out of money.
DELHI - Several vehicles have been egged in Norfolk County.
Cars and Trucks were hit in Delhi, Renton and Waterford over the weekend. The vehicles were hit with eggs while they were parked in their driveways in the middle of the night between Saturday and Sunday. A number of cars were damaged by the acts after this deliberate acts of mischief.
Police have identified suspects involved in all of the incidents and are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact Norfolk OPP or Crime Stoppers.

DELHI - Police are reminding the public to be cautious after a homeowner on Main Street in Delhi was scammed out of $400.
OPP say the person received a call from a man who claimed their home computer had a virus. They game the person access to their computer, which allowed them to remove $400 for their bank account.
Computer users are reminded, that unless you initiate the call, do not allow anyone access to your computer. Don't give out personal, banking or credit card information to anyone unless you are sure of whom you are dealing with.
Tips to protect yourself:
- Never download anti-virus software from a pop-up or link sent to you through an e-mail.
- Update your anti-virus software often and scan your computer for viruses regularly.
- Don't click on links or attachments in e-mails sent to you by someone you don't know.
- Turn on your browser's pop-up blocking feature.
- Never click on a pop up that claims your computer has a virus.
