OPP Briefs include multiple thefts that occurred in Zorra Township, as well as a break and enter that saw a large quantity of money stolen from a business in Tillsonburg.

TILLSONBURG - Oxford County OPP are investigating a break and enter that happened on Vance Drive in Tillsonburg.

The incident occurred last Thursday at approximately 7:19 p.m. and according to the report, two unknowns men broke into a business went into several areas including an office. Once they were inside, they stole a large quantity of Canadian currency.

Both suspects were captured on security surveillance footage and investigators are attempting to identity them.

OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP -  Oxford County OPP are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle in Zorra Township.

The unknown suspects went to a home on Linda Lane last Thursday at approximately 4:57 a.m. and broke into a car after damaging the driver's side window. They removed a pair of Beats headphones, a health card and an Ontario driver's licence along with a debit card.

The police report says the debit card had been used at various businesses in the early morning hours. Investigators are trying to review the security surveillance footage in an attempt to identify those responsible.

The OPP is urging all vehicle owners to lock their cars and to remove any valuables from them. If anyone see any suspicious activity, they are being asked to call police immediately.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Oxford County OPP are investigating another theft after more items were stolen from a vehicle at a residence on Boyd Avenue in Zorra Township. 

According to the report, the unknown suspects arrived at the home last Thursday at approximately 5:56 a.m. and got into the car after damaging the passenger's side window. Once inside, they removed a Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet, ownership for the vehicle and a black leather wallet containing personal and financial information.

A credit card in the wallet had been used at a business in the early morning hours. Investigators are reviewing the security surveillance footage to identify those responsible.

The OPP is urging all vehicle owners to lock their vehicle and remove any valuable items. If anyone sees suspicious activity they are being asked to call police immediately.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Oxford County OPP are investigating after they responded to a theft at a home in Zorra Township. 

Police arrived on scene last Thursday at approximately 4:11 pm. They learned the unknown suspects came to the residence on Sloan Drive in the early morning hours and got into an unlocked vehicle. Once inside, they removed a dog seat along with other non-valuable items.

OPP are continuing to investigate and are looking for the public's help with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
