Throughout the investigation so far, OPP say a car was travelling west bound on Haldimand Road 20 when it went off the road and collided into a ditch on the south side and into a field, ejecting the driver from the vehicle.
HALDIMAND COUNTY - A Brantford man has died following a fatal collision on Haldimand Road 20 in Fisherville.
Haldimand County OPP, firefighters and EMS arrived on scene at 6:21 a.m on Friday on Haldimand Road 20, east of Haldimand Road 12, after someone who passed by noticed a car was off the road and into a field that appeared to have been involved in a collision.
Emergency crews found a man a short distance away from the vehicle with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The man has been identified as 65-year-old David Gregory.
Throughout the investigation so far, OPP say a car was travelling west bound on Haldimand Road 20 when it went off the road and collided into a ditch on the south side and into a field, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The car was an orange Jeep Wrangler.
OPP Traffic Collision Investigators were also on scene and are assisting with the investigation.
Haldimand Road 20 between Haldimand Road 12 and Concession 7 Road was closed for approximately six hours while emergency crews were on scene.
