Pair accused of killing OPP officer will be back in court on February 21st
Two people facing charges in the death of an OPP officer made a brief appearance in court today.
Randall McKenzie, 25, and Brandi Stewart Sperry, 30, have been charged with first degree murder after Constable Greg Pierzchala was killed last month.
Their next court appearance will take place on February 21st.
McKenzie was previously released on bail in a separate case.
This has prompted the country's premiers to call for changes to the criminal justice system.
Pierzchala was shot to death near Hagersville while responding to a call about a vehicle in a ditch.
