A total of 1,938 Festive RIDE programs took place across the West Region and 80 of them were in Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - OPP officers conducted 1,938 Festive RIDE programs across the West Region over the holiday season.
Officers laid 292 impaired driving charges between November 21st and New Year's Day and they issued 19 warning range suspensions.
Oxford County had the smallest number of Festive RIDE programs this year with 80. A total 32 charges laid and no suspensions issued.
When you compare it to last year, the Oxford OPP conducted 246 Festive RIDE programs during the 2023-2024 holiday season. Twenty-six charges were laid and three suspensions were issued.
