Police are asking the public to check their properties, including outbuildings for any evidence that may assist in locating 51 year old Derek Ritz.
SEBRINGVILLE - The search continues for a Perth County man who has been missing since New Years Eve.
51 year old Derek Ritz was last spotted in the area of Avonton Road in Sebringville at 3:00 a.m. on December 31st. The Perth County OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch are still investigating his disappearance.
They are following up on information already provided by the public, however they have not been able to find Ritz and are concerned for his well being.
He was wearing blue jeans, a dark coloured shirt and a dark coloured leather motorcycle jacket. Ritz is 5'11, weighing 170 lbs with should length brown hair that is unkempt. He has brown eyes and a tattoo on his right forearm of a woman with a snake. He is possibly carrying an orange backpack.
He is known to frequent Sebringville and the City of Stratford and is usually traveling on foot.
Police are asking the public to check their properties, including outbuildings for any evidence that may assist in locating Mr. Ritz.
