Teens in Norfolk County managed to avoid criminal charges after doing the "Overnight Challenge".
NORFOLK COUNTY - A couple of teens from Norfolk should be thanking their lucky stars they are not facing criminal charges after trying to do the "Overnight Challenge" or "24 hour challenge."
The teens, a 13 year old girl and 16 year old boy snuck into the store and hid from employee's before they locked up last week. When they had the store all to themselves, they built a fort out of toilet paper after they watched a prank video on a web site of other youths hiding in a store overnight.
Employee's found them first thing Tuesday morning and called Police. Officers arrived on scene and located both youths who were very remorseful. Police subsequently took both kids home to their parents. No charges were laid at the request of the store.
