Oxford County municipalities will receive a combined total of $3.8-million in infrastructure funding from the Province.
WOODSTOCK - The Province is investing $3.8 million to fund infrastructure projects in Oxford County.
The money will be split across all 9 municipalities in the County. Local MPP Ernie Hardeman says this money will be used to address local community infrastructure needs.
"As your MPP, I am upholding my commitment to support our local municipalities by creating jobs, attracting economic growth and investment, and making our community the best place to live and grow. This funding will help build and repair roads, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure in our community.”
The money will be distributed as follows:
- City of Woodstock will receive $550,283
- County of Oxford will receive $2,234,511
- Town of Ingersoll will receive $300,881
- Town of Tillsonburg will receive $221,449
- Township of Blandford Blenheim will receive $152,951
- Township of East Zorra-Tavistock will receive $93,375
- Township of Norwich will receive $132,244
- Township of South-West Oxford will receive 103,322
- Township of Zorra will receive $98,663
