EMS Chief Ben Addley will act as a Southwest Ontario Zone Director for the Ontario Association of Paramedic Chief's Board of Directors.
A familiar face has been selected as one of the Zone Directors for the Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs Board of Directors.
EMS Chief Ben Addley will serve as a zone director for the Southwest. Addley tells Heart FM about some of the duties he will perform as zone director.
"As a director we will help the President and Vice President of the Association in setting our strategic goals for the OAPC Association. We will also help to work on different operational tasks or committees at different times, whether that's working on new patient care standards, consulting with the Ministry of Health on those, whether it's advocating with the ministry on changes or new projects, legislation or communications or technology related issues."
He was nominated by his peers and elected to the position at a meeting in Ottawa on Tuesday.
