Oxford OPP briefs include a stolen pickup truck in Norwich Township and a couple of impaired drivers.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - The Oxford OPP is investigating two vehicle thefts in Norwich Township.
They were both taken from homes in the area of Ninth Road and Highway 2 on Sunday January 8th.
Officers first heard about a stolen pickup truck at around 10:30 a.m. It's described as a silver Dodge Ram in the 2009 model year with dark tinted windows and a tonneau cover. Police say it had a hydraulic pump in the cab of the truck and several bags of wood shavings in the bed when it was taken.
The OPP responded to the second vehicle theft at 2:30 p.m. that day, but it has since been recovered in Brant County.

ZORRA TOWNSHIP - A driver from London is facing charges after the Oxford OPP pulled them over in Zorra Township
An officer stopped their vehicle on Road 68 at around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday January 8th. They issued a breathalyzer test and the driver had to be taken to the detachment for further testing.
A 55-year-old has since been charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 and stunt driving with excessive speed.

OXFORD COUNTY - A 41-year-old from Brantford has been charged with impaired driving on the 401 in Oxford County.
The Oxford OPP received a traffic complaint at around 11:40 p.m. on Sunday January 8th.
Officers were able to pull over the vehicle and take the driver into custody for testing.
