***Oxford Road 8 reopened around 11:30 am*** Oxford Road 8 is closed this morning (MON) due to a single vehicle crash near Bright. Around 7:30 am a car crashed into the ditch and struck a gas line causing the line to rupture. Emergency crews responded to the scene and say one home was evacuated due to the gas leak. Union Gas is on scene repairing the line and Oxford OPP say the westbound lanes will remain closed while the work continues. Police have closed Oxford Road #8 at Oxford Road #22. No injuries are reported and the driver has been charged with careless driving.
