WOODSTOCK - The Oxford Winds Community Concert Band is performing next weekend.
The ensemble will be putting on The Elements of Spring, which is a spring-themed concert that explores the four elements of water, earth, wind and fire.
Musical Director Stephanie Riehl says the performers are prepared to sing from different genres.
"The band has really enjoyed preparing these pieces. We’ve mixed some fun songs by Burt Bacharach in with more serious classical pieces like Stravinsky’s Firebird, and modern film scores from Into the Woods and the Shape of Water."
The show will be inside the newly-renovated space at St. David’s United Church.
Tickets are $10 in advance and they can be bought for $12.00 at the door. Children who are 12 years old and under get in for free. Tickets are also available at Merrifield Book Shop or they can be picked up from band members, or purchased online.
