Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that has left an Oxford County woman in hospital with life threatening injuries.
NORFOLK COUNTY - An 18 year old woman of Oxford County is in hospital fighting for her life after a crash last night.
OPP say the woman was traveling southbound on Orange Hall Road when she left the roadway and entered the west ditch before the vehicle ended in the east ditch and collided with a tree.
The crash happened around 11:43 p.m. last night. OPP, Norfolk County Fire Department, Norfolk County Paramedic Services and Oxford County Paramedic Services were all on scene.
The woman was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was transported by paramedics to a local hospital. She was then air lifted to a London area hospital for further treatment.
The Technical Collision Investigators are working on the case currently, as a result, Orange Hall Road is currently closed between Plowman's Line and Colonel Talbot Road to allow officers to work.
