Satisfy community requirements and expectations in a cost-effective manner. That was the message from Steve Wilks an associate from IBI Group about Para-Transportation. Wilks presented a variety of recommendations to council Thursday night. Some recommendations included: 24 hours in advance booking, extending weekday hours until 6:30, and having personal care attendants not have to pay a fare to ride. Currently Woodstock's Para-Transportation?s cost per trip is one half less than municipalities of a similar size. Council agreed to a 30 day review, in which time there will be public feedback. After the review council will make an official recommendation.
