A senior citizen is in serious condition at the hospital after an accident in Stratford.
STRATFORD - A 69 year old man is in serious condition after getting hit by a car in Stratford.
Police say the man was walking when he was hit at the intersection of Churchill Circle and Britannia Street. Accident investigators are still at the scene conducting an investigation and people are being asked to avoid the area. The area of Churchill Circle and Britannia St, will remain closed for at least three hours will officers are conducting their investigation. The road should reopen at approximately 6 p.m. and drivers are being asked to use an alternate route.
The Stratford Police Service is asking for assistance from the public regarding this accident. If anyone was in the area of Churchill Circle and Britannia St at approximately 12:40pm and witnessed this accident, they are asked to contact PC Aaron Mounfield of the Stratford Police Service at 519-271-4147 ext 191.
