A 77 year old man is in hospital with serious life threatening injuries in East Perth this morning.
UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as 77 year old Andrey Ginovker of Stratford.
PERTH - A scary scene in East Perth Township on Hwy 8.
OPP assisted with a collision involving a pedestrian and a sedan around 6:30 p.m. last evening.
Police say a pedestrian crossing the highway was struck by the sedan travelling east bound.
The pedestrian, a 77-year-old male, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries where he was later pronounced deceased. Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan was uninjured.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
