In local PJHL playoff action tonight Norwich will host Wellesley, Tavistock will be home to New Hamburg and Thamesford will host North Middlesex.
PJHL - It's going to be an exciting night for local PJHL playoff action.
The Norwich Merchants will be hosting the Wellesley Applejacks in Game 2 of their semifinal series. The puck will drop at 8:00 p.m. at Nor-Del Arena. The Applejacks are currently leading the best-of-seven series 1-0 and Game 3 is scheduled for tomorrow night in Wellesley starting at 7:30 p.m.
The Tavistock Braves will also be looking for a comeback tonight when they host the New Hamburg Firebirds in Game 2 of their series. That game will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Tavistock and District Recreation Centre. The Braves suffered a 4-1 loss to the Firebirds on Wednesday and the two teams will also play in New Hamburg at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow.
In the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans will try to take a 2-0 lead in their semifinal series against North Middlesex when they host the Stars in Game 2 tonight. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. at the Thamesford Area Recreation Centre. Game 3 is scheduled for tomorrow night at the North Middlesex and District Arena with an 8:00 p.m. start time.
