Tavistock celebrated two wins over the weekend, taking a 3-1 lead in the Schmalz Cup semifinal series.
PJHL - The Tavistock Braves are now one win away from advancing to the Schmalz Cup Final.
They started the weekend strong with a 3-0 victory over the Lakeshore Canadiens on Friday. Tyler Brezynskie, Evan Palubeski, and Jacob, Reid-Brant scored for Tavistock.
It was another exciting game yesterday, with the Braves doubling the Canadiens 6-3. The game was tied at 3-3 going into the third period, but Yann Raskin scored once and Keegan Metcalf scored twice to secure the win for Tavistock.
The Braves are now leading the best-of-seven series 3-1 and Lakeshore will host Game 5 tomorrow evening with a 7:30 p.m. puck drop. Tavistock will host Game 6 on Wednesday if need be.
