All of Oxford County's Junior C hockey teams celebrated preseason wins over the weekend.
PJHL - It was a busy weekend in PJHL preseason action.
The Woodstock Navy Vets suffered a 5-4 overtime loss to the Mount Brydges Bulldogs Friday night, but bounced back with a 5-1 victory over the Mitchell Hawks on Saturday. Sam Barry scored a hat-trick for Woodstock on Saturday, while Nolan Brett and Ty Crombie scored the other goals for the Vets.
The Tavistock Braves beat the Dorchester Dolphins 5-3 Friday night, while the Norwich Merchants crushed the Hagerville Hawks 4-1.
The Thamesford Trojans also celebrated a 5-2 win over the Mount Brydges Bulldogs on Saturday.
