There is still one Oxford County team on the quest for the Schmalz Cup.
PJHL - Two of the final four teams in the Provincial Junior Hockey League Playoffs are set, and one is from Oxford County.
The Tavistock Braves needed 5 games to eliminate the Dundas Blues in the South Conference Final. The Braves jumped out to a 2-0 series lead against the Blues before losing game 3. That would be the only loss in the series for the Braves, as they took games 4 and 5 last weekend.
Up next, the Braves will be taking on the powerful Lakeshore Canadiens. The Canadiens' road to the semi-final was battle-tested as they swept the Dresden Kings in the first round, then went 7 games against the Blenheim Blades, before taking out their arch-rival, the Essex 73's, in the Stobbs Division Final. The Canadiens won the West Conference by sweeping the Mount Brydges Bulldogs.
Below is the complete schedule of the semi-final series between the Braves and Canadiens.
