The Navy Vets and the Merchants both celebrated two wins over the weekend.
PJHL - It was a winning weekend for the Woodstock Navy Vets.
They celebrated two wins over the Paris Titans; 4-1 on Friday and 4-1 on Saturday. This means Woodstock is now leading the best-of-seven quarterfinal series 2-1.
Meanwhile the Norwich Merchants are now leading their series 3-0 after celebrating two more wins against the Hespeler Shamrocks over the weekend. They beat Hespeler 6-4 yesterday and 8-nothing on Friday.
The Tavistock Braves beat the Firebirds 4-3 on Friday, but suffered a 5-1 loss to New Hamburg on Saturday. This means that series is now tied at a game a piece.
Over in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans suffered a 5-1 loss to Port Stanley on Saturday but celebrated a 2-1 win over the Sailors yesterday. That series is also tied at 1-1.
