A special day of fitness and friendly competition will help support the Medics for Mental Health Bike Ride
WOODSTOCK - People can show off their strength and agility all while helping support the Medics for Mental Health Bike Ride.
Friendly City CrossFit is hosting a special event on Saturday, May 27th.
Founder and President of Medics for Mental Health Tanya Hirtz breaks the day into three parts:
"We have some kids activities from 10 - 12 p.m., we have a teen and adult fitness competition from 1 - 4 p.m., and in the evening we have an adult axe throwing competition from 6 - 10 p.m.
Hirtz says the fitness competition will be a real sight to see.
"So it's kind of Cross Fit style versus Ninja Warrior. So there's going to be obstacles and monkey bars and tire throwing - lots of fun stuff."
Proceeds from this event will go to the Medics for Mental Health Bike Ride.
Registration is available online or day of. Ticket information can be found on the Medics for Mental Health website.
