The Merchants, Braves and Trojans all hit the ice in local Jr C playoff hockey action tonight.
First round playoff action in the Midwestern Jr C Hockey League and Southern Ontario Jr C league continue Friday night.
The Merchants and Applejacks are back in Norwich for game five at the Nor-Del Arena. Game time is 8:00 pm. Wellesley tied the series at 2-2 Wednesday night at home.
Tavistock host New Hamburg for game four at 7:30 pm. The Braves will look to tie their series as the Firebirds hold a 2-1 lead.
Over in the Southern Ontario league, Thamesford could wrap up their series against the Hawks tonight in Exeter as the Trojan hold a 3-2 series lead. Game seven will go Saturday night in Thamesford if needed.
