Local police briefs include an impaired driver in Ingersoll and a Norwich man facing drug related charges in Woodstock.
INGERSOLL - Oxford OPP arrested a 34 year old from Ingersoll on impaired driving charges early Sunday morning.
Police say they pulled over the driver for speeding on Harris Street around 12:20 a.m. Officers detected the driver was impaired and took them back to the detachment after they failed a roadside screening device.
The driver was charged with impaired driving.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police arrested a 37 year old man from Norwich late Saturday afternoon.
Police say they found the man slumped over in the driver seat of a vehicle parked on Norwich Ave.
The man was in possession of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, counterfeit cash and break in instruments.
Police arrested him without further incident.
