60 drivers found out the hard way. Woodstock Police have wrapped up their back to school blitz in watching out for speeding through school zones. While 60 drivers were charged with speeding, police dished out another five tickets for distracted driving for using a handheld device behind the wheel. Five other drivers were charged with failing to wear a seatbelt. Police are vowing to keep up the school zone enforcement, and say over the next couple of weeks they'll be watching crossing zones closely. The fine for disobeying a crossing guard will net you a 150-dollar fine.
