A 56-year-old from Ingersoll died in hospital.
INGERSOLL - The Oxford OPP is investigating a fatal crash involving an e-bike in Ingersoll.
Police say scooter-style e-bike crashed into a pole on Charles Street East at around 1:00 a.m. today. It was being operated by a 56-year-old from Ingersoll at the time and they later died in hospital.
Officers closed Charles Street East between Beachville Road and Taylor Street for several hours for the investigation, but the area has since reopened.
The Oxford OPP would now like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have surveillance or dash cam footage of the area when it happened.
