One person died after a northbound motorcycle collided with a southbound pickup truck on Gunn's Hill Road in Norwich Township.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - One person has died after a head-on crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Norwich Township.
The Oxford OPP got the call at around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon. Police say a northbound motorcycle collided with a southbound pickup truck on Gunn's Hill Road, close to Oxford Road 14.
The motorcyclist was ejected from their vehicle and later died in hospital. Their identity has not been released at this time, as officers notify their friends and family.
The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries and was also taken to hospital.
The investigation is still underway and the Oxford OPP has closed off the area of Gunn's Hill Road and Oxford Road 14. The area is expected to remain closed for several hours.
