The Oxford OPP is asking for the public's help identifying potential suspects following several mischief complaints at the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
INGERSOLL - Police are investigating several mischief complaints at the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
A video posted to the OPP West Region Twitter page shows a broken window at the mausoleum and beer can littering the grounds.
Oxford OPP Constable Trevor Lamb says this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
"These actions are not only unlawful. They are considered disrespectful as the cemetery is a place for reflection and mourning of those that have passed."
Anyone with information should contact Oxford OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
If you are passing through the cemetery police say you should keep to yourself, don't touch any of the gravestones and stay away from the mausoleum.
