A man from Woodstock is facing drug trafficking charges after police executed a search warrant.
WOODSTOCK - A 34 year old man from Woodstock is facing drug trafficking charges after police found prescription drugs at a home in Woodstock.
Police executed a search warrant on Thursday after an investigation into the trafficking of prescription drugs from the Woodstock Drug Enforcement Unit. Officers found about $17,000 worth of prescription drugs at the home along with heroin, marijuana and cash.
Jason Simms was arrested has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and fail to comply with probation.
Several prohibited weapons were also seized with additional charges pending as the investigation is on-going.
