Police have wrapped up an investigation into a suspicious vehicle and driver that were allegedly talking to children in St. Marys.
ST MARYS - Perth OPP have wrapped up their investigation into a suspicious vehicle that approached young children in St. Marys.
OPP say the vehicle and driver in question have been identified and it was determined that no actual conversation took place. Police say the voices the kids heard was actually just loud music coming from the car. The driver confirmed the location and was there to pick up a friend. The investigation concluded as a result.
The Perth County OPP reminds all members of the public that there are many instances in which a situation may appear suspicious; however, not all unknown situations pose safety risks to the public. Timely reporting allows police to immediately investigate these incidents, identify those involved, and take necessary steps to ensure public safety.
