Two Woodstock men are facing a number of drug related charges following a police investigation. The Woodstock Police Services Criminal Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at an address on Norwich Ave. today which lead to the arrest of 27 year-old Ryan Ede and 25 year-old Harmeet Singh. EDE has been charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. SINGH is facing one count of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and one count of Knowledge of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. A third party is expected to be charged with drug related offences as well. Marijuana, oxycodone, and cash were seized in the bust, with a value of roughly $8700.
