PICKERING - Premier Doug Ford is okay after he was involved in a car crash on Highway 401.
He was returning to Toronto from an announcement at Darlington Nuclear Generating Station in Bowmanville yesterday when the crash happened.
Ford says the OPP cruiser he was riding in was "sideswiped" by other vehicle, but thankfully the OPP officers and the staff member in the vehicle with him are okay. When asked about his own condition yesterday, Ford told reporters "This head's like limestone. It's hard as a rock."
In terms of the other vehicle, police say the two occupants were taken to hospital with minor injuries. An 18-year-old from Oshawa was behind the wheel, and they're now facing a dangerous driving charge.
