The Horizon Arctic docked in St. John's Newfoundland yesterday, carrying pieces of the Titan submersible that were discovered close to the Titanic.
ST. JOHN'S - The US Coast Guard says "presumed human remains" have been discovered in the wreckage of the Titan submersible.
The Titan imploded last week during a trip to the Titanic wreckage site on June 18th, killing all five passengers on board. A remotely operated vehicle (ROV) discovered the wreckage about 500 metres from the bow of the Titanic a few days later.
The ROV recovered the wreckage from the Atlantic Ocean and brought it to the Horizon Arctic, which docked at a port in St. John's Newfoundland yesterday. Photos showed several pieces being lifted onto the docks, including the Titan's nose cone.
