Press conference scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will address the media later today on the next steps his government will take in response to ongoing trucker convoy protests.
A press briefing has been scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Earlier today, he spoke with the country's premiers to discuss invoking the Emergencies Act.
If greenlit, the Act would grant government the authority to stop people from gathering or traveling to certain locations.
It is currently unclear whether or not the federal government will go ahead with the measure.
This comes after a weekend of continued protests in several areas, including the Peace Bridge.
