Fanshawe College pauses classes at their Tillsonburg campus
TILLSONBURG - Programming has been paused at Fanshawe College's Tillsonburg location.
Dean of the Faculty of Regional and Continuing Education Susan Cluett says the decision to pause comes after the college learned their lease with the Livingston Centre was coming to an end effective December 31, 2014.
"At the moment we have not found space that is suitable with the needs we may have in the community," says Cluett. "But we are very encouraged by the supportive conversations that we are having with folks in the community who we know are interested in maintaining Fanshawe College's relationship in Tillsonburg so those conversations are ongoing."
"We are certainly maintaining a presence in the community," continued Cluett. "We are actively engaged with members of the community who are assisting us to determine what the future for flexible and sustainable delivery will be for Tillsonburg because we know that there are opportunities for us to continue and to grow programming but perhaps in new and different ways."
