Progress Rail ( Caterpillar) Setting Up Shop In The U.S.

Electro Motive's parent company - Progress Rail Services is reportedly about to go on a hiring frenzy in Indiana. Progress Rail is owned by U.S. Based Caterpillar Inc. The company is to begin its job fair February 4th in search of hiring workers in Muncie, Indiana with wages ranging between $12.00 and $18.50 per hour - about half what London workers were getting paid. The U.S. Company will also shell out an attractive benefit package that includes an employee incentive program, dental & medical benefits, vacation pay and a retirement savings plan. Positions to be filled at Progress Rail include welders, painters, Inspectors, maintenance technicians, material handlers and assemblers.
