ZORRA TOWNSHIP - The Zorra Heritage Committee is a new group working to promote the heritage of Zorra Township.
The committee has a mandate "To identify, document and promote the heritage of Zorra." At the inaugural meeting in 2019, Heather Forbes was elected as Chair of the Committee and Sam Coghlan was elected as Secretary.
Secretary Sam Coghlan says they are hoping to attract some more members that their second meeting this Wednesday.
"We are having a meeting on Wednesday June 26th at 7:00 pm. so people can just show up there, we do have a small membership fee of $5 because we are committee of the Beachville District Historical Society whose mandate encompasses all of Zorra Township and all of South-West Oxford Township."
