A 38 year old man from Woodstock was three times over the legal limit while he was hauling 63,500 kilograms of propane.
WARWICK - A 38 year old truck driver from Woodstock was charged with impaired driving while he was on the job.
Police say the man was drunk while driving a propane truck on Highway 402 in Warwick Township on Monday morning. Police pulled over the man after receiving a complaint from the public about his erratic driving behaviour.
The driver was nearly three times over the legal limit while he was towing a dual trailer containing 63,500 kilograms of propane. The Woodstock man was charged with the following offences:
1) Impaired operation of a motor vehicle while impaired.
2) Impaired operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
3) Drive motor vehicle with open container of liquor.
