A massive protest is planned for today at the Ontario Liberal leadership convention. More than 100 buses have been booked to bring protesters to the convention at Maple Leaf Gardens. Teachers, union members, students, Aboriginals, and other upset groups will take part, much in protest of Bill 115. Some of the buses will be filled with local CUPE members. They're leaving from the Quality Inn in Woodstock at 10:30am, with the protest planned for 1pm. The demonstrators plan to denounce provincial spending cuts and an Ontario law that imposed contracts on thousands of teachers. Meantime, first ballot results for the Ontario Liberal Leadership are expected early this afternoon.
