The Province confirmed 1,746 new cases today and 1,320 recoveries. We currently have 618 people in the hospital with the virus and 168 in the ICU.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,746 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 116,492.
The Province total number of deaths now sits at 3,656 after the weekend. Meanwhile another 1,320 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 98,639.
The province completed 39,406 tests yesterday. We currently have 618 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 168 in the ICU and 108 COVID-19 patients on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from area hotspots with 622 new cases in Toronto, 390 in Peel and 217 in York Region.
