Daily case numbers are the lowest they have been in almost a year in Ontario with 184 confirmed today. Nearly 1/4 of the cases today are coming from the Region of Waterloo.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 184 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 544,897.
The Province confirmed 14 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 9,168. Another 322 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 533,472.
The province completed 27,258 tests yesterday. We currently have 251 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 209 people in the ICU and 181 in the ICU on a ventilator. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 46 new cases in the Region of Waterloo, 19 in Grey Bruce, 17 in Toronto, 17 in Hamilton and 16 in Peel Region.
