Province Confirms 190 New Cases of COVID-19 This Morning

The Province confirmed 190 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 12 deaths. Meanwhile another 353 people have recovered and the amount of people in the hospital is under 400 for the first time in months.

ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 190 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 0.6% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 32,744.  

The Province also confirmed another 12 deaths bringing the total to 2,550 and 1,636 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 353 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 27,784.  

5,359 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 2,097 cases are from health care workers. 

We currently have 383 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 92 are in the ICU and 65 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 24,205 tests yesterday.
