Daily case numbers are back over 3,000 today after two days being under that mark.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 3,424 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 483,057.
The Province confirmed 26 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,213. Another 3,997 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 440,467.
The province completed 54,118 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,964 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 877 people in the ICU and 600 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 958 new cases in Toronto, 900 in Peel, 291 in York Region, 175 in Durham and 155 in Hamilton.
