Ontario is reporting 3,871 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 4,245 resolved cases, along with 41 new deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 3,871 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 459,477.
The Province confirmed 41 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,029. Another 4,245 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 413,010.
The province completed 56,939 tests yesterday. We currently have 2,248 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 884 people in the ICU and 620 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,172 new cases in Toronto, 901 in Peel, 392 in York Region, 292 in Durham and 147 in Ottawa.
