Every single day this week the Province has reported more resolved cases than new cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 3,887 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 463,364.
The Province confirmed 21 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,050. Another 4,242 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 417,252.
The province completed 53,074 tests yesterday. We currently have 2,201 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 883 people in the ICU and 632 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,331 new cases in Toronto, 871 in Peel, 267 in York Region, 208 in Durham and 204 in Hamilton.
