Ontario is reporting over 4,000 daily cases again this morning with 28 additional COVID-19 related deaths and 3,160 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 4,156 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 398,835.
The Province has confirmed 28 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,610. Another 3,160 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 354,417.
The province completed 54,211 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,877 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 642 people in the ICU and 422 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,254 new cases in Toronto, 593 in Peel, 476 in York Region, 340 in Ottawa and 248 in Durham.
