Daily case numbers are over 4,000 today but so are the resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 4,212 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 429,123.
The Province confirmed 32 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,789. Another 4,204 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 378,417.
The province completed 51,877 tests yesterday. We currently have 2,335 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 790 people in the ICU and 566 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,249 new cases in Toronto, 771 in Peel, 386 in York Region, 276 in Hamilton and 214 in Durham.
